How to increase quota if account originally used to set up no longer available?

Hi,
Someone else set up an ODK database for me a few years ago (2013) and gave me the aggregate data login and password. However, I'm exceeding the daily usage quota (receiving error message). I no longer have contact with the person who set the database up for me. Is there anything I can do to increase the quota?
Thank you,
Angela

Hi Angela,

You will only be able to manage daily quota on GAE. If you have your login credentials of the Google cloud account, where your Aggregate has been hosted. Log into your Google cloud account and set up billing plan. Also, I would suggest, if it was done back in 2013, the Aggregate is already backdated. You can set up a new Aggregate server and transfer your forms to you the new server using ODK Briefcase.

Thanks,
Imran

Thank you, Imran. I'm sorry I'm new to this so the terminology is a bit confusing. I do not have access to the login credentials of the google cloud account where my Aggregate has been hosted. Does this mean there is nothing I can do?

Also, am I able to set up a new Aggregate server and transfer my data to the new server without have the login credentials of the google account? I DO have the login and password to access the aggregate.

Many thanks for your help.
Angela

Hi Angela,

At this point, I think the best option is to set up a new Aggregate server and transfer your data using briefcase. Yes, you just need the credentials of the old Aggregate server to transfer data to the new Aggregate.

Thanks,
Imran

Thanks, Imran. Can you direct me to where I can learn how to set up a new Aggregate server and how to use briefcase?
Thank you so much.

Hi Angela,

Sure! Please follow the link: https://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/ for installing Aggregate and https://opendatakit.org/use/briefcase/ to use briefcase. You can download then from: https://opendatakit.org/downloads/ .
