I looked into both Aggregate and Briefcase but couldn't find a way to
'import from csv". I see "export to csv" feature.
Is there import csv file data into Aggregate?
Thanks

Correct. There is not.
Data input is expected to be done via ODK Collect. ODK Aggregate and
Briefcase hold data-of-record from the ODK Collect data collection process,
and provide mechanisms to export that data into other systems for further
analysis.
(In ODK 2.0, the ODK Tables tool has an import-from-csv capability via the
'+' on the ODK Tables table manager screen. And external applications can
upload data to ODK Tables using the 2.0 REST API.)

Am facing a similar challenge. i accidentally deleted my form from the Aggregate. i recovered it and now have the csv file. i would like to know how exactly i can import it back to Aggregate.
Jaideep,
While this functionality is not built in, there are plenty of ways to
move CSV data in and out of ODK. What precisely are you trying to
accomplish?

The easiest thing to do is look at the CSV and enter that data into a
blank form with ODK Collect.

Mitch -- thanks, the tables approach might work for us. We are planning to
use ODK 2.0 Survey with Aggregate 1.4.6. Will start looking at Tables too.
@Yaw -- we need to import historic data and also data from a parallel
system that won't be integrated into ODK.

@ Yaw. I have a similar issue but in entering the data into a blank form on odk collect the photo and description was okay to enter. IT's the location that i can't enter since the blank form has to take a new location. any further assisstance ?
Not sure it is documented anywhere....
You need to first define your table, with all of its columns. This is
easiest done by creating a form for the table, even if you never use it. If
the form id is the same as the table id, the application designer will
write out a definition.csv and properties.csv that is used when Tables
starts up to create the table. Once the table is created, you can then
import the csv (it looks for it under the assets/csv directory, filename is
tableid.csv or tableid.qualifier.csv).
The csv file does not need to have all the columns that are present in the
table definition -- any columns omitted will be assigned null values.
The dates and date times in the file need to be in iso8601 format, (in
UTC), or perhaps that format with 6 extra trailing zeros:
2015-05-01T09:50:02.000000000
Time zone information needs to be managed separately. The web view always
renders times in device local time; we use UTC to store time so that we
don't have to worry about the device that collected it. We intend to
provide a property to report the device time zone so that if your
deployment does span multiple time zones, you can handle the time
information in whatever way is appropriate for your needs.
If you have any trouble with it, just ask. There are undoubtedly quirks
that we have been working with for years and no longer even notice.

Hi Fummy,
Your issue is different enough that you should send a new email or
start a new post.
In that post, please describe the high-level problem you are trying to
solve. It sounds like you want to enter location manually? Or load it
into a form from CSV?
Yaw

Were you able to accomplish this?
I am wondering what functionalities differ with the new ODK 2.0 please
Correct me If I am wrong.
I am using ODK 1.5. the CSV files can be uploaded as media in the Draft testing mode.
