I would like to understand regarding any technical contributions needed for any of the tool with an aim to propose it as a project under GSOC 2018.
Is there any possibility for discussion regrading the same?

As a reminder ODK 2 tool suite (Survey, Tables, Services, Scan, Sensors, Suitcase) is different than ODK 1 tool suite (Collect, Briefcase, XLSForm).

Hi All, I am currently working on migrating the ODK 2.0 documentation into Sphynx and bringing it in line with the rest of the ODK documentation. This includes bringing over all the existing ODK 2.0 documentation (both on the website and the wiki) as well as adding some more content to ease the learning curve for new users. Some example improvements include intro pages for the tools and for the suite as a whole, new tutorials, and documentation for the example apps. On the most recent ODK 2.0 …

ODK 2.0 Documentation migration to docs.opendatakit.org -- Request for Review

I have just opened a pull request to merge the ODK 2.0 documentation from here into docs.opendatakit.org. Here is a link to the pull request. The content of the docs is largely the same as on the website, but I have attempted to apply the ODK style guidelines to them, and break them up somewhat into a similar file structure as the rest of the docs. There are also some error fixes and other tweaks. This is a huge PR, and I'm hoping to get some eyes on it from both the existing docs contributors…

• @Jeff_Beorse gave an update on the ODK 2 documentation migration to docs.opendatakit.org with additional discussion about coordination between ODK 2 documentation and new website updates. Discussed the need for task lists so others can contribute.

• @linl33 presented some initial ideas on how the peer-to-peer synchronization will work with discussion focused on conceptualizing the peer-to-peer synchronization scope and features.

• Discussed considerations regarding new EU data privacy rules and how ODK 2 will need to change. @downey will contact other open source projects to investigate what they are doing to understand the new rules and how to comply.
