Two different select one questions in a group with required on one

1. What is the problem? Be very detailed.
I have a Group called Contractor with Field-list appearance having these 2 select one questions
Q1. Select Contractor
a.Contractor 1
b.Contractor 1
Q2. Contractor Not Listed
a.Not in List

Before the Contractor page is District question. Depending on the District selected shows the Contractor group.
If the user selects Q2. Contractor Not Listed - a.Not in List a full list of Contractors will appear on the next page.

I want to have a required function that allows the user to select one of these questions in the Contractor group before the next page will appear.

ODK Collect v1.22.4 on Google Pixel 3 Andriod 9
3. What you have you tried to fix the problem?
Tried putting a required field on the whole group but did not work.
4. What steps can we take to reproduce the problem?

One way of achieving that is to 1. Set both questions as required. 2. Add "Not in list" as last option in Q1. 3. Set relevant for Q2 when "Not in list" is selected.
